Steven Fitzgerald is the Chief Executive Officer of the FireStorm Group, an eclectic collection of enterprises spanning art, human capital consulting, and real estate holdings. His executive career spanned 30+ years, where he held the top HR/Talent position at firms including Bridgewater Associates, Visteon, Vail Resorts, and Fairlane Credit. He also held executive roles at Silicon Valley outfits such as Sun Microsystems and Avaya. Steve credits his early years at Ford Motor Company (after coming out of graduate school at Michigan State) as being foundational in building early mental maps for the systematic development of talent in an 100+ year old enterprise.
Today, Steve splits his time between various ventures. Professionally, he consults to enterprises on the topic of talent management, focused on the development of critical talent, executive succession, creativity, culture & change, M&A integration, and human capital strategy. He thrives when faced with the hard-to-solve people problem.

And lastly, Steve is active athletically, participating in cycling, hockey, Nordic, alpine, and backcountry skiing, fly fishing, and a variety of other outdoor pursuits as the seasons change. He and his wife Diana have been married for 30+ years and split their time between Fairfield, Connecticut and Fraser, Colorado. Their adult sons Sean and Ryan live in the west, in Boulder, Colorado and Jackson, Wyoming, respectively.
