Lee MozenaLee helps organizations develop, articulate, and reach DEI goals: through strategic communication, training, and facilitation. Her strength-based process begins with market research and builds cultural competency for leaders, managers, and business owners in any sector or industry where people want to work together better.

She is founding owner of Zena Consulting, LLC. Since 2008, clients working with Lee learn how to:

  • Engage more demographic groups
  • Improve employee or customer relationships
  • Increase productivity and profits
  • Reduce conflict on teams

Lee’s professional background is in family services, where she worked with diverse communities in the Seattle area. Her education includes: MA in Sociology from The New School and BA in Communications from Temple University. She also holds certifications in Community Adaptive Leadership, from Saybrook University, Training Specialist, from the University of Washington, and Basic Facilitative Mediation, from the Skagit County Dispute Resolution Center.

Zena Consulting is a Washington State Office of Minority, Women, and Business Enterprise (OMWBE) certified as a Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and federally certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).
Lee also serves on Washington State’s Business Diversity Advisory Group, whose sole purpose is to increase policy and procurement equity for small, minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses.

When not at the computer, Lee is moving. She’s taught dance and yoga, loves to hike, and is currently learning Krav Maga.
